Leadership is not a skill you're born with, it is a skill you slowly develop. Being selected as a CTE on this publication was such an honor, and something I would cherish the following year. During my time as an editor, I was taught some of these leadership skills, as I had to deal with unfocused staffers, undeveloped stories, and unmotivated staffers. From speaking 1 on 1 with my staffers, to reminding them in our group chat of upcoming deadlines, I did my best to be a leader for them. As the seniors left this year, Lila and I also had the ability to led the classroom in morning activities such as the agenda, team war games, and staff shout outs.
