Reflection: This was the first profile story I wrote, and it was such a privilege doing so. For this story, I was granted press access to SunFest, and it was a great experience of professional journalism. While conducting interviews at SunFest, I was able to talk to his mom, drummer, and former teacher to provide me with information about Ben Krieger. Expecting this in advance, I was able to set-up some questions to go off of. For my interview with Ben, it went over an hour long, and I had to pay for otter.ai pro...However, it was such a fun time being able to work outside of school, and this piece ended up winning a gold key for journalism!
