Reflection: This was my first time writing an editorial, and I was so excited to write it!! I was super looking forward to write about desensitization of safety drills because it had been a problem I had noticed for a while, but never thought I'd get to share with the community. However, I had the preconcieved perseption that I would write about how students were the casue of this issue, which ended up not being voted on as the angle. That is why much of my early draft cycle I had to focus on sticking to my angle. Overall, I had a lengthy 1st and 2nd draft process, but I really liked how the overall story came out.
